Harvey Ortmeier (shown here in 1955)  started Ortmeier's in 1939. His brother, Ray, managed the business while Harvey served in the Army in WWII. His sons, Glen and Warren, have been employed at the business for many years and entered into the partnership with Harvey in 1984.

Glen Ortmeier (store manager) oversees all areas of the business and is a graduate of Creighton University . He has been at the business full-time since 1974.

Dan Suhr has been with Ortmeier's since 1962. He is the elevator and warehouse manager and handles mixing, delivery, and maintenance.

Warren Ortmeier has been with the business full-time since graduating from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1980. His duties include counter sales, merchandising, and bookkeeping.

Jim Franzluebbers recently joined
Ortmeier's as a Livestock Production Specialist in Sales.  He has 27 years of experience in this profession.  Jim was born and raised in the west point area and lives with his family on an acreage west of town.
